Welcome to Madonna Matric Hr. Sec. School, a premier institution of higher education nestled on a serene 2.43-acre campus in G.R. Nagar, Kannanendhal, Madurai. With its lush gardens and aesthetically designed infrastructure, Madonna offers more than just a place to learn — it’s a place to grow, dream, and shine.
A Brief History
Founded in 2006 under the visionary leadership of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception (C.I.C), Madonna was born from a mission to uplift the poor through education. With blessings from Rev. Mother Antony Xavier and Rev. Sr. Sooasiammal, and inaugurated by Rev. Antonysamy S.D.B., the school began its journey toward excellence.
From the pioneering leadership of Rev. Sr. Therese (2006–2008) to the impactful tenure of Rev. Sr. Vanitha (2010–2021), and now under the dynamic guidance of Rev. Sr. Annal Jeya Kumari, Madonna has consistently delivered 100% academic results and expanded its facilities to meet the evolving needs of students.
Milestones include:
- Recognition for X, XI & XII standards
- Multiple batches with 100% results
- Campus expansions in 2013, 2015–16, and 2022–23
- Continued support from the Generalate and benefactors like the Bolle family
